The object of the game is you are trying to get any of the above patterns in your cards. The player with the highest ranked card set or card wins. In the begging everyone puts in a bet that everyone matches. As you turn in cards and get new cards you can place a different bet to raise the pot to be worth more. The other players can choose to stay and raise their bets as well, or they can fold out of that round. There are many variants on poker, including Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, All American, Joker Poker and a number of others.
There are a total of 2,598,960 different hands that can be dealt to you in poker. When reviewing the math we find that a player, after drawing additional cars, will get a royal flush once in about 40,000 hands and a straight flush in about 9,000 hands.
