You will never have to worry about which company has the clearest long distance service, but there are still plenty of other factors to consider when choosing the right long distance plan for you.
General Rates
When searching for the best long distance service plan for you, compare billing increments between companies. A plan that charges by the minute rather than 6 second increment rate adds up a lot more quickly. Carriers that require a long distance service contract usually have lower rates, but you have to make a commitment. Take into consideration whether or not you want to have a long term contract or if you want the flexibility of leaving your long distance service plan if a better offer comes along.
