Disney Hotels: Making the Most of Your Magical Vacation

Ever wanted to stay at an African savannah? How about a Caribbean beachfront? Disney hotels can give you these experiences, and more. And all the package deals available mean that you may even be able to save money at the same time.

If you’re going to Disneyland or Disney World, a great way to maximize the Disney experience and even cut some costs is to look into Disney hotels for your trip. You may be able to get a package deal that includes your Disney theme park tickets, hotels, dining, airfare, and other entertainment, or any combination of the above. Guests at these hotels usually even get some free souvenirs, which may include trading pins or posters.

One way to get a great discount on hotels and packages is to continue to visit the discount page. Go to wdwinfo.com and check out the discounts section to see if there is anything that catches your eye. Another way to save money, which you might want to consider, is traveling during the off season. Disney hotels, park tickets, and airfare will all be less expensive if you travel during January, February, September, and November.

You can also get a discount on Disney hotels if you have an American Automobile Association (AAA) membership. Having a Disney Visa card is another way to get a discount on your hotel stay. The regular, undiscounted price at a Disney hotel usually begins around $80 for a regular room, depending on the hotel. If there are no discounts available for the time and place that you want to stay, be sure to take advantage of pre-arrival discounts by purchasing your tickets in advance. You can save $20 per person on a 5 day park hopper pass if you get the passes in advance.

Pricing and Hotel Specifics:

There are many Disney hotels available, and the pricing varies, as do the accommodations. Disney groups their hotels into four groups, from least expensive to most expensive: Budget, Moderate, Home Away From Home, and Deluxe.

If you’re like most of us, you probably don’t get to take vacations extremely often. Staying at a Disney hotel, whether you prefer Budget or Deluxe, can help you and your family make the most of the experience and build some great memories.
