I have seen enough credit card offers to last a lifetime. I loathe them but I was willing to look past that, if only for a minute, to suggest a couple of websites that may help you find a credit card

Another Credit Card Offer

I have seen enough credit card offers to last a life time. But, being the wonderful philanthropist that I am, I tried to set aside my contempt for a moment to offer some sound advice. I failed in hiding my contempt, but I hope that you will find the information that I did include to be helpful in finding a credit card offer to fit your situation.

If I see another credit card offer, there is no telling what I might do. They come by snail mail to my home, they come in the form of a phone call, and they come by e-mail. I get so many of them that I do not give them any consideration anymore. I simply ignore them any way that I can. There is no packaging flashy enough, no design they can put on a credit card to make it appealing enough to grab my attention for another minute.

When I graduated, we had a great speaker. He was in his nineties but had a commanding presence and a great aura about him. He started off with a joke. Loosely translated, it went something like this: years and years ago, when I was trapped on a desert island I had some interesting company. In all, there were three of us that had been shipwrecked. One fellow was trying to build a fire in hopes of catching the attention of a passing boat– perhaps they would come to the rescue. The other was frantically collecting white sea shells and organizing them on the beach. “Help,” he was writing in giant letters. It seemed like he may be trying to signal a plane. All the while I sat still and watched them work feverishly. The two of them sat down that evening, exhausted. They looked at me and asked how I could sit there so calmly. Why wasn't I trying to do something to make sure that we would all get off the island before starving to death? My answer was simple: a credit card company will find me with a credit card offer– they always do.

That sums up my feelings on credit card offers. Wherever I am, there they are. I could be in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on some desert island and a credit card offer would float up in a bottle. What is worse is that half of the solicitations are from the same company from which I received one of the two credit cards that I already have.

Maybe this problem is unique to me, but I doubt it. I only have a couple of years under my belt to establish my credit. It is mind boggling that they can even make any money when they spend so much time and money mailing out solicitations.

It drives me crazy but then there is that moment when my car is on empty and I do not have more than a couple cents in my ashtray. Rolling into a gas station, I realize how great that little plastic card really is. It is a life saver. And, if you do not have one, you should consider getting one.

Now, I have said a lot of mean things about credit card offers and I meant every one of them. But I appreciate my credit card. As I said, if you do not have a credit card, you may want to consider getting one. So, on your behalf, I did the unthinkable– I actually looked for a credit card offer or two. They are not too hard to find but here are a couple that may interest you . www.credit-card-applications-center.com and www.bestcreditoffers.com . Both websites list some very good offers for both people with good credit who are looking for a card that will give them a little something back for using it, and for people with bad credit. There are a lot of choices out there, and if you are anything like me, you have seen more of them than you would like to. For just a minute, I can look past all the solicitations and appreciate my credit card. If you do not understand what I am saying, I am sure you soon will.
