You can go to most baby stores or greeting card stores to purchase blank announcements. Usually, these cards will already have a picture or a cute design on the front. If you would rather put a picture of your baby on the front, you can buy completely black cards made for home design. Make sure the paper is made to be printed on by a laser or ink-jet printer. What to Include
There is certain information that should be included in these announcements. Make sure you have all this information before you send the cards out. Include the following: baby’s gender announcement (It’s a Boy or Girl), baby’s name, baby’s date of birth, baby’s weight, and parents’ names. If you have a baby registry, you might want to include this information also.
