The lawyer will want to know about your situation right away in order to best help you, so be prepared to tell him about yourself. You need to know about him too, so feel free to come with a list of questions for him. These can include any questions you have about his previous experience in adoptions, if he specializes in the adoption area, or rates and additional charges that may come into play. No matter how long the process ends up taking, stay with it. Adoption has a great outcome that can change a child’s life for the better—and your life too.
